Excellent rally...excellent stages and well organised. Really enjoyed this years ulster, growing up it was always 1 of the big events that everyone wanted to do. Competing on the rally and finishing 5th in the fiestas was a brilliant way to end the summer.

Fridays 1st stage was very slippy, tardree caught several drivers out and was a challenge to keep the car on the road at times. Running no.50 meant there was alot of mud dragged onto the road which didn't help, however glendun and torr head in north antrim were fantastic stages, real classics and real challenges.

Saturdays stages were equally as tough. The 2 stages that stand out are the carncastle stage and the 17 miles of slieve gallion. Conditions were dry on the saturday so tyre choice made itself. With some small problems along the way we managed 5th in both uk and irish fiesta rounds. Whilst my pace wasn't good enough to run with the top 3 fiestas, Im glad to finish within the top 5. With this being such an endurance event, myself and Billy were determined to finish this, as we knew any prizemoney would help pay for the rally! And it has!

No immediate plans now however, as i said in the last news article, fiestas aren't the future, personally speaking. I'm expecting some changes on the horizon, different car and probably different rallys aswell....Lets wait and see!
